Gilles Berthoud Mente Saddle

The Mente saddle is available as a test saddle at our 978 Rachel store. 

The G.Berthoud leather saddles are designed and made in their workshop located in Fleurville, in beautiful South Burgundy, France. They feature a unique serial number engraved on the brass washer on top of the saddle nose. Featuring a pre-softened leather, they still require a few hundred kilometers "break in" period to fully conform to your shape and position. The Mente saddle is a unisex saddle, featuring a 180mm width (the widest of the Berthoud saddles), long straight rails for saddle setback adjustment and a quite upright position, both practical and comfortable when commuting for instance.
