This is supposedly a cyclocross tire, but cyclists and especially messengers in Montréal know it as a reliable winter tire: it fits many frames without much tire clearance, leaves room for fenders, isn't too pricy, and works well in slush and hardpack. Get a studded tire if you'll be riding on ice regularly, though.
