MKS Sylvan Gordito For Circles Pedals

This is a custom pedal that Circles - a bike shop in Nagoya, Japan that's also the HQ of Sim Works - spent three years developing, in which the side panels of a few of MKS's classic models were manufactured from brass.

Unlike anodized aluminum or electro-deposition paint, the black paint will peel off over time, revealing the brass base. The exposed base metal will then oxidize and gradually become dull, and depending on the environment, a verdigris pattern may appear. This is a finish that allows each user to enjoy different changes over time.

The sides of the Raw model are made from bare brass and will become dull with use over time. You can also have fun polishing them to bring out a new shine.

Crust Cycles teamed up with MKS Japan to create a wider and longer version of their classic Sylvan Touring pedal. Meaning "Chubby" in Spanish, the Gorditos are perfect for riders with big feet or for wearing boots.
