Create an accountThis is a custom pedal that Circles - a bike shop in Nagoya, Japan that's also the HQ of Sim Works - spent three years developing, in which the side panels of a few of MKS's classic models were manufactured from brass.
Unlike anodized aluminum or electro-deposition paint, the black paint will peel off over time, revealing the brass base. The exposed base metal will then oxidize and gradually become dull, and depending on the environment, a verdigris pattern may appear. This is a finish that allows each user to enjoy different changes over time.
The sides of the Raw model are made from bare brass and will become dull with use over time. You can also have fun polishing them to bring out a new shine.
The BM-7 is a 2012 reissue of one of MKS' most popular BMX designs from 1979’s. The BM-7 features an alloy body and an alloy cage built around MKS' hand-adjusted cup and cone bearing system. The one-piece wrap around cage features an aggressive tooth profile (but not as aggressive as the BM-10 that came after it) with a slight concave design to help keep your foot centered. While the original BM-7 has a black plastic dust cap, this updated version has an alloy cap.
