The Tourney TY-500 is the Shimano entry level 6-7 speed rear derailleur. It is, nevertheless, a very reliable derailleur. Shimano's Tourney component group incorporates advanced Shimano functions and styling that sets the standard for entry level components. The Slant Pantograph will provide reliable shifts while the Smart Cage design provides MegaRange compatibility.
