These chains are basically compatible with all 11-speed transmissions, but for best shifting results you should match the fanciness of the chain to the fanciness of your cassette.
- HG601 is roughly 105/Deore level
- HG701 is roughly Ultegra/XT level
- HG901 is roughly XTR/Dura-Ace level
All these chains include a Shimano Quick-link, which should not be re-used. Shimano 10-speed and 11-speed chains are directional, and will shift weird if you install them upside down.
